Thanks for posting. I was recently ...Great article. Thanks for posting. I was recently in a discussion about violence against women and one of the older women apologized for her feelings. It saddened me that she felt it necessary to do that. Several of the men in the group, who are all men I love and respect, couldn't quite get the universality of the cultural message of violence. For so long serious discussion of these issues has happened among people who are already predisposed to "get it", preaching to the choir as it were.
